Winter Solstice - Possum Palace
Slippery, slidey, scarily!
Warren wasn't expecting something like this to jump out in front of him!

Well done to all our brave souls who put their vehicles on display at Queen's Wharf, over the damp Queen's Birthaday Weekend. A good show of Land Rover's best!
Thanks to Graeme for introducing us to this neat playpen for Land Rovers! A great time was had by all. There was something for everyone on a beautiful Autumn day.
Our very first drone shot (Thanks to Richard Ng)
A chocolate box day! - stunning Autumn weather up at South Head saw us helping DoC and Auckland Council with planting up native bushery on Te Rau Puriri Park at South Head together with other under the auspices of the NZFWDA.
There were over 1,000 seedling trees and shrubs to be planted on the hillsides - this was done in under 3 hours by some 40 volunteers, all under the watchful, and sometimes stern (!) eye of the Park Rangers..
Wow! This run produced emails such as this from Kyle: "I think that was just about the best trip I have been on so far, that was a really fun day and all the damage I managed to do was get a punture and lose a little bit more paint so I consider that pretty lucky. Hopefully Steve your diff is not to expensive. Thanks Ivan again for organising the trip and thanks Shaun and Steve for company. I hope we get to do that track again soon with a few more members from our club."
Ivan and others gave us good account of this trip - not least being Kyle's brake 'issue' which led to some moderate damage to a tree on the hill he had been climbing!
The troops preparing for the run
A definitely delectable foodie event for our club on it's 20th anniversary; with our Training Day afterwards...
50 vehicles came in for grading.. a World record! . Special thanks to our Tech Grading Experts who spent most of their time inside/on top of/underneath them
A perfect-picture day for 21 Land Rovers to have good fun on the Annual Jonkers Trial Day! Stunning scenery and brilliant summer weather.
Lots of seemingly easy sections with extra twists for the unwary... But a load of fun nevertheless!
This in from Nic Church: Ray and I decided a recce was overdue. We'll organise a Club trip soon - coming up in April, details to come.
I made a couple of calls to find some other brave souls and the recce was on. We left after lunch on Saturday arriving down there at 3pm. The track has seen a fair number of trucks this season which has made it a lot more fun!
