Christmas Picnic & Camp-over

Hey all members, this should be an excellent end of year run. You choose how much you want to do of Off-roading day, Restaurant dinner, Bonfire social with Secret Santa, Camp over, Morning run to one of the best lookouts in Auckland, Farm Market etc.
The restaurant will need an indication of numbers by Thursday latest as they are booking extra chefs to cope with our early dinner. Please RSVP here, by leaving a 'reply' below or send a email back to bwhyte@... by replying to Brett through the group email he sent out Tuesday 26th November.
Event Details:
Saturday 30 November
9:30am - Meet at Manukau Velodrome carpark take the Te Irirangi Exit on Southern Motorway.
9:45am - Convoy to Kevin's front paddock
10:15am - Unload trailers and camping garbage on Kevin's front paddock
11:00am - Convoy to Duncan Munroe's place. Club will be covering the entry cost.
11:15am - Divide into track grade groups, safety briefing
11:30am - Start off-roading!!
1:00pm - Gather together again for self catered lunch
1:30pm - More off-roading
4:45pm - Gather to convoy back to Kevin's
5.00pm - Extinguish giant bonfire that has got out of hand and re-tension guy ropes on tents etc.
5:25pm - Drive to dinner venue in town
5:30pm - Arrive at Corner Restaurant & Bar 1 North Rd Clevedon. Pay your own bills.
7:00pm ish - Arrive back at paddock, set up chairs around fire, mashmallows, Secret Santa
[$20max] bring 1 gift per person. Vote for "Truck of the Year" etc. Those not camping, can then
leave when you wish.
Note definitely no dogs on this trip please - too many places with livestock on hand.
Sunday 1 December
9:30am - Meet at Manukau Velodrome right hand carpark
9:45am - Convoy to Kevin's front paddock
10:15am - Catch up with all the bedraggled wrecks emerging from tents, stirring coffee with
fingers and jealously sniffing those who remembered to bring bacon and campstoves.
10:45am - Convoy to the superb lookout spot at the top of Cauldry's place.
11:30am - The day is up to you now, stay in small groups or split up and explore the delights of
the area before wending your way home... perhaps into town to sample the Clevedon Farmer's
Market, brunch at Hallertau Brewery, Fish & Chips at [?] Beach.
