Maratoto Working Bee
May 9 @ 9:30 am - 4:30 pm
Last year only two LROCA members showed up for this, and Brett & Jim had an excellent day driving this fabulous Coromandel track and sharing light work duties and banter with members of other Auckland and surrounding clubs. Thoroughly recommend we add it to our calendar more often than we have in the past. Suits our Grade 2 vehicles. Maratoto can be accessed halfway between Kopu & Paeroa.

Annual trip to Maratoto track to help with cutback and track maintenance.
Dept Of Conservation (DOC) says we need to stay safe, so please dont bring chainsaws or powered saws on poles.
Scrub cutters and hand tools such as pruning saws, loppers and hedge cutters (even powered ones) are welcomed. As are many hands to move cut material. Bring your mother - tell her its her surprise Mothers Day gift one day early.
