The planting day is at the Te Rau Puriri Regional Park, near the top of the South Kaipara Heads, the meeting time is 9.30 with planting until around midday.  All clubs from the NZ4WDA are invited. To date we have planted over 50,000 native trees and some of these are more than a decade old so you can see the difference we've made.

Bring a 'clean' spade, gloves, suitable footwear and weather appropriate clothes.

The Council Rangers then put on a sausage sizzle and if conditions allow a drive across the park. They are always extremely grateful for our support. Truck grade for the event is ALL 0-3+ but if the park drive goes ahead it will up to you to ask the organisers if your gear is suitable. It will be sticking to formed tracks.
