Level-2 Woodhill Run

Now that everyone will be in Lock-2 mode by this weekend, we thought it would be great to kick-off our events calendar with a Woodhill Run this Sunday.

As we like to support our own  members + of course the 4x4 community,  normal fees apply, that is $60 per truck (cash only).

Roger has been busy making many new tracks over the lock-down & fire risk period.

Long up hills, wide & non-scratchy, some tough & lots of sand tracks.

Many new tracks to explore.

West Coast Beach Clean-up Day

The Muriwai Environmental Action Community Trust run a registration station, probably down in the carpark by the Surf Club, or at the Surf Club itself.  They are hoping to get as much litter as they can and as much of it washes up north of the main beach.

Plan is on March 7th  to run a clean-up day covering Muriwai, Bethells, Piha, Whatipu and the coast on the northern Manukau Harbour. Low tide is about 3pm so the plan is to run an afternoon clean-up.

- we have asked the planners if our club can be stationed @ 1 x beach only.

Further details are coming to hand
