The Muriwai Environmental Action Community Trust run a registration station, probably down in the carpark by the Surf Club, or at the Surf Club itself. They are hoping to get as much litter as they can and as much of it washes up north of the main beach.
Plan is on March 7th to run a clean-up day covering Muriwai, Bethells, Piha, Whatipu and the coast on the northern Manukau Harbour. Low tide is about 3pm so the plan is to run an afternoon clean-up.
- we have asked the planners if our club can be stationed @ 1 x beach only.
